BASIC SERVICES
This group is responsible for the planning, development and management of the basic Internet services (web, e-mail, DNS, etc.). We are available to the Consortium’s other work groups, and to associated Universities and external clients.
Thanks to the constant updating of our technological standards, we are able to guarantee the correct working of the Consortium’s basic Internet facilities, along with their full efficiency. For every problem, we provide – through a daily facility – second level assistance to CASPUR’s helpdesk.
Along with the Consortium’s facilities management, we also provide planning, development and support services to INROMA network. INROMA is an Internet access network – completely separated from the research network (GARR) – that CASPUR offers to its non-scientific clients. INROMA includes dedicated line connection facilities, ADSL, dial-up, website housing and hosting.
