STORAGE AREA NETWORK

CASPUR Storage Area Network is based on Brocade and QLogic switches and is exploited by all main services (AFS, NFS, Virtual Library, Backup, Computing Systems). These systems link storage and computing resources, permitting to allocate storage resources in a selective way, through a zoning process.

Currently we have three kinds of Brocade switches, alogn with the two Qlogic SANbox 5200 switches:

Silkworm 2400 1Gb/sec
Silkworm 2800 1Gb/sec
Silkworm 3800 2Gb/sec
SANbox 5200
