IPV6 EXPERIMENTATION
In collaboration with other Universities and research institutes, CASPUR is currently involved in the 6NET project, financed by the European Union through the IST (Information Society Technologies) program, coordinated by GARR and aimed at the production and experimentation of a native IPv6 network. Our job is divided into different activities:
- Production of a local IPv6 infrastructure, connected to the native IPv6 national backbone;
- Active participation in the European project work groups;
- Under GARR coordination, the development of a series of IPv6 protocol tutorials at the most important Italian Universities and research institutes.
