CASPUR BECOMES EMBNET NODE
 In the 20th anniversary of the European Molecular Biology network (EMBnet), after the EMBnet polls, the CASPUR Consortium has been added among the Specialistic Nodes.
The combined expertise of the nodes allows EMBnet to provide services to the European molecular biology community which encompass more than can be provided by a single node.
EMBnet has 41 nodes spread over 30 countries supporting thousands of registered users from all over the world as well as a larger number of Internet users.
EMBnet nodes employ over 130 professionals. Computing resources add up to around 230 hosts ranging from workstation-level computers to supercomputers, and terabytes of storage capacity.
