AGREEMENT BETWEEN CASPUR AND INSTITUTE OF BIOPHYSICS OF CNR
 The CNR Institute of Biophysics and CASPUR have recently contracted an official three years agreement concerning the use of high-performance computing to studying, among others, the functional mechanisms of biological systems.
In particular, this agreement is aimed to study the relationships between structure and function of clinically and biologically relevant macromolecules (K ion channels, membrane receptors and transporters) by means of large scale molecular dynamics simulations. According to the signed agreement, CASPUR will also provide its HPC facilities and expertise to support collaboration projects with the CNR Institute of Biophysics largely in the area of computational biology.
