NEW NEC SX-6 NODE
 From February, 8, 2005 NEC SX-6 is available at CASPUR. It is a complete parallel vector system consisting of 8 vector processors, each with 9 GFlops of peak vector performance, and for a total of 64 GB RAM.
Access to drone.caspur.it front-end is possible through an interactive login by means of ssh. Those whishing to accede have to apply for it to the application referents of each area.
The system software is NEC Super-UX 14.1, Compilers NEC C/C++ 1.0, F90 2.0, OpenMP 1.0, MPI 14.1, MathKeisan 1.4.0.
