An ANF cell configuration is aimed at those organizations (Departments, Computation Centers, Research Institutes, etc.) wishing to make maximum use of a distributed file system. Generally, an AFS cell is installed in areas with a considerable number of computers, (> 10), or in situations in which the network connecting the area to the rest of the world is not efficient and/or reliable.

Requisites:

• Membership in one of the following domains: caspur.it, uniroma1.it, uniroma2.it, uniroma3.it, uniba.it, poliba.it, unile.it, unitus.it, unifg.it, iusm.it, infn.it, cnr.it, ictp.trieste.it
• Preferably, server compuers must be dedicated to AFS service (root and a few privileged uses for computer management only)
