Francesco Ferreri
I was born in Rome, Italy, in 1977. I received my degree "summa cum laude" in Informatics Engineering from University of Rome "Tor Vergata" in April, 2004. I developed my dissertation in collaboration with the Institute for Applied Computing of the Italian National Research Council (IAC-CNR) and CASPUR.
I'm currently CTO at NaMeX an Internet Exchange and Interconnection Point based in Rome, an important node for national Internet backbone infrastrucure. I'm in charge of overall technical supervision for the exchange, my activities include system and network management, software design, implementation and integration. I'm also involved in research activities regarding IPv6 and VoIP technologies.
